How can I register and when is the closing date?
Online registration is available HERE. Online registration will close on Thursday, 6 July 2023 at 12pm or when we reach our registration cap whichever happens sooner.
What are the entry fees?
Individual
5km Fun Run Early Bird: SGD45
5km Fun Run Normal : SGD50
5km Fun Run Late : SGD65

The race is capped at 4,000 entrants and once that number of registrants is reached, the 2023 race will be closed.
What is the minimum age requirement for this event?
Runners have to be 5 years and older to participate in the 5km Fun Run and 16 years and above in order to participate in the 10km and 21km. Kids that are between 5 and 12 have to be accompanied by an adult runner.
What are the types of payment available?
We accept VISA or Master Card via online registration through PayPal. Cheque will be accepted through mail although this is not the preferred method of payment. When paying by cheque, please issue cheque payable to Epic ESR Pte Ltd and mail it to 24 Ubi Road 4, Singapore 408612. For queries on other payment terms please contact us at info@epic-esr.sg
Do you send out confirmation emails?
Those who have provided us an email address will receive a confirmation slip via email.
What is my race bib number? Race bib numbers will be assigned to runners for the 10km, 21km.
Do you give refunds if I can’t make the race?
All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is noted on our on-line registration application and when you register for any of our events you must agree to this policy.
You may not give or sell your race bib number to another individual. If you do this, you as well as the runner who uses your race bib number will be disqualified. The entry fee for the 2023 event is not transferable to next year’s event. Except for a recurrence of Covid-19 pandemic, this policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. Any inquiry regarding this policy will be directed back to this page.

Is there an age requirement for the 5km Fun Run? Yes, you must be 5 years and above.

Is there an age requirement for the 10Km and 21Km. Yes, you must be 16 years and above for 10km and 21km race.

Is there group registration? We do offer group registration, please contact us directly at info@epic-esr.sg

Can I run the race without registering? No, all runners without race bibs will be directed off the course immediately.
PRE-RACE

Where/when do I pick up my race kit?
You will pick up your race kit which consists of your race bib number, event T-shirt (5km Fun Run) and race bib number, timing chip and event singlet (applicable only to 10km & 21km distance) at the Race Expo. Information on the Race Expo’s venue and date will be updated in due course.
Where is the Race Expo?

What must I bring to the Race Expo?
Please bring along a copy of the confirmation email containing the QR code (digital format is acceptable), authorization form duly completed and signed if you are collecting on behalf of participants and your ID (NRIC or Passport)
What if I can’t make it to the Race Expo to collect my race kit?
You may download the letter of authorisation from this website and ask a family member or friend to collect the race kit on your behalf.

What if no one can collect the Race pack on my behalf?
You are strongly encouraged to collect during the Race Pack collection dates, alternative collection date will be on event day however do expect a long waiting time.

Do you have race day pick up?
Yes, but we do not encourage this as it may delay your start time. This service usually reserved for foreign runners who are not residing in Singapore. If you are picking up your race kit on race day, just proceed to the Information booth at least 1 hour to 1.5 hours before the designated start time for your event.
Can you mail me my race kit?
No, we do not provide mailing service for race kits, all participants must pick up their race kit at the Race Expo.

What’s the best way to get to the start?
By MRT Train : MRT Thomson East Coast Line TE22 (Gardens by the Bay) – Exit 1
By Bus : Bus number 400, alight at Marina Barrage.
By Car : There are very limited parking at Marina Barrage. There are alternative parking at Gardens by the Bay @ 18, Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953
By Taxi or Ride hailing service : Inform the driver that to alight you at the Marina Barrage. 8 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018951.

What if I miss the flag off time?
The course will close between 15mins to 20 minutes after the official flag off time. Please check your flag off time and take note of the cut off time. 5km will close at 4:20pm; 10km will close at 5:45pm sharp, sharp and 21km will close at 7:45pm sharp. No one will be allowed to start after the starting cut off time.
Is the Marina Run course a certified course?
No, this course has not been certified.
Is there a time limit to complete the 10Km, 21Km?
Yes, the cut off time for the 10km (2.5hrs after the official flag off time) and 21km (4hrs after the official flag off time).
What can I do if I do not meet the race cut off?
Due to road closures and park usage restrictions, course cut off will be implemented.
Is there prize money for winners who competes in the 10Km and 21Km event?
No, only trophies and sponsored items for the top 3 runners of each categories
How to you pick the winners?
The ‘Gun Time’ will be considered to determine the winners for all categories.
How will my time be recorded?
The Marina Run event will be using Timing Chips and it is to be secured to the shoe lace of the 10km and 21km runners. Each Timing chip is checked for functionality before distribution. The Timing chip is always 'ON' and need not be activated. You can dispose the chip after the race.
Are walkers permitted?
Yes, walkers and race walkers are part of the Marina Run event. However, walkers are asked to start near the end of the pack to avoid being crowded or bumped by the faster participants and slower runners are encouraged to stay on the left side of the race route.
Are skates, skateboards, bicycles, e-scooters or carriages of any kind allowed on the Marina Run course?
No, if you are caught on the Marina Run course with any of these, you will be directed off the course immediately.
COURSE SUPPORT

How many aid stations will you have?
There will be sufficient aid stations, water and sports drinks will be offered at all the aid stations and they are approximately 2km to 3km apart.
Will there be paramedics and ambulances in the event of an emergency?
Yes, fully equipped ambulances and paramedics will be on standby along the race route and end point.
Is there a baggage check in facility and where is it located?
Yes, it will be located near the starting line. If you have a bag to drop off, you are strongly encouraged to arrive at least 30mins ahead of your flag off time.
What time will the finish line close and timing stopped?
2.5 hours after the flag off time for 10km and 4 hours after the flag off time for 21km half marathon.
Will there be food provided along the course?
No, you are encouraged to prepare and carry your own nutrition.
Do you have Pacers?
Yes for 10km and 21km
POST RACE

Do all participants receive finisher medals and finisher T-shirts?
All finishers within the race cut off time in the 10km and 21km event will receive a finisher medal and a Brooks finisher T-shirt each. T-shirt sizes have to be pre-selected at the point of registration and no exchanges of T-shirt will be allowed at the end point. Note : 5km Fun Run will receive a finisher medal only.
Where can I collect my baggage after the race?
Collection of the baggage will be at the same location as the drop of. The baggage counter will close at 11:30pm; any uncollected baggage will be stored at Epic ESR office for 7 days. The race organizer and management accept no responsibilities for lost baggage or any items left in our care.
When will the results be made available and will there be finisher certificates?
Your race result will be posted on our website after the race. Official results and an Electronic Finisher Certificate will be made available to all finishers within 14 days after the race on the event website.
OTHER

How can I purchase photos from Marina Run 2023 ?
As this is an evening / night race and due to low lighting condition, no official photographs will be taken, however we will still engage photographers to take photographs of the event and it will be uploaded onto our Facebook Page.
